Wow is cold here. Arriving in Auckland at around 11:00a.m. NZ time (4 hours faster then Malaysia), is just like losing 4 hours that's what my friend, Chia Yeen, said. Haha... and I told her it can be gained back when you return back to Malaysia. We walk to the custom counter which is a long long queue, say 11 zig zag rows before reaching the officer to get our passport stamped. Is a long wait about an hour. Reaching to the officer, I handed my Electronic Visa and have my passport stamped for work permit until 6 months, no question asked. Apparently some visitors before us have some questions asked and being asked.
Then we headed to the luggage collection and passed the biosecurity scanned. All smooth. Once out from the gate, we were greeted by Lean, Chia Yeen's cousin's wife. Where we were being lead to David's car. After round 20 minutes drive, we arrived to David's house and Amy and Stephen is in the house waiting. They are nice and very helpful. The kids are just cute especially when they smile.
We have some rest and joined for lunch. After eating, we helped to bring the plates to the sink and apparently looking for the dish washer liquid and sponge. Haha... guess what they uses the dish washing machine. Just put the plates in the machine, some washing powder and a click on the button, the plates are clean. Cool isn't it.

Isn't this cool? Not hurting the hands...
Then we went for a short walk in Newmarket. We arrived the shopping mall called Westfields. There's Food Town supermarket similar to Carrefour where we can get most of the things wanted. And things are kind of fresh too.

Lean showed us the place to find for chinese food, and indeed most chinese stalls can be found here.

- kiwis are everywhere and is kind of cheap compared with Malaysia and also King of Fruit, Durian is also available.

- it sells in packet for less then NZD1 for green kiwis and abit higher for gold kiwis., NZD1.50 But definitely less then NZD2 can get a packet. (Conversion rate NZD 1 = RM 2.30)
Then we have a walk in the streets. Those are some shops designed found, quite interesting though.
- crystal for ah wei.
- Four Seasons Restaurant but is closed for Winter. haha... just kidding, is the resting time.
First impression of NZ, is cold of course and is similar like Perth. Will wait till arriving to the city then only be able to tell. Take care folks.
