Upon arrival, Kok Mun and a few of his friends went up to Rachel's house, while waiting for the '
' to bring the basket of fruits and desserts. This is a culture during the Chinese wedding that the groom will bring fruits and desserts to the bride's house on the wedding day.
Haha... a historical thing happens when the '
Dai Kam Jie' enters the house to handover the basket to the bride's parents. Frankly, this is so fun and I was quick shock as well, as I haven't see this happen. What happen was when the '
Dai Kam Jie' enters the door, Kok Mun and his bestman went in together and succeeded. Can you believe this??? They just escape from the '
door game'. Everyone was so shock especially the bridesmaids...

After a while, Kok Mun decided to come out and prepare for the '
door game'. What they need to do is the groom and his brothers need to finish the food prepared by the bridesmaids, consisting of sweet, sour, hot and bitter, resembles the two newly weds will stay together no matter what happens.

Dai Kam Jie - a lady whos job is to make sure that the marriage procedure goes correctly and to keep the a cheering atmosphere
Door game - originated from ancient time which implies that the bride is a lovely girl and her family and friends do not want to marry her away. The groom will be blocked at the bride's door, and her friends will try to stop him from entering by asking questions about the bride, a way to test if he really cares about her. They may also do other tricks to delay the bride's leaving. The groom will try to buy his way in by presenting "Li Shi", token money wrapped in red envelops. The entire "bargain" process is joyous and good-natured. (taken from http://www.chinabridal.com/etiquette/procession.htm)
