The day has finally arrives, the last day of the year before stepping to 2008. Eventually we have surveyed several places to spend our night taking firework and to include landmarks in the composition, after failing to do so during the putrajaya shooting. Some places in the list are Desa Petaling and Titiwangsa, the Eye of Malaysia. We have decided the latter one and ready to pack our stuffs. Later in the evening, suppose to be total of 6 person, ending up me and my friend ready to take off.
We arrived at town around 8pm, since is still early and no jam to be seen, we decided to drive along KLCC area to check out better location. Since then, we decided to take KLCC instead of travelling down to the Eye. After several round trips around KLCC, we parked near the ExxonMobil open car park area and walk out for more scenic location. Hehe... driving at this hour is totally free of car at least is minimal as road closure heading to Exxon has been closed down, allowing me to u-turn any time I prefered. Sorie friend if my skill scared you off... haha...
Since is still early, we moved around to snap some photos of the Twin Towers. Moving around into big crowds where screaming, running, people blocking the way might not be a good idea. Here are some photos of the TT :

How do you feel about the photo below? Haha... got feel or not?

At around 11:00p.m., we walked back to the selected location in drizzling. We take shades under a tree and move to another when is getting bigger. We are worried whether will the rain stop on time, since we have been waiting for 4 hours we decided to wait till the times arrive, meanwhile donating some blood (to the mosquitoes) and smelling the aroma from the rubbish contenna. Haha....
The rain seems to stop on time and we positioned ourselves for the shot. Just before we decide to take out the equipments, the rain started again. Frankly, I am in an acceptable wet condition. My friend was asking whether to continue or leave for shelter and we decided to ...... continue... hehe... hope that my equipment didn't get cold.
Finally the count down started and we have readied our gear. Bommm... the first burst has been released, my friend and I were stunt looking at each other. The burst was released right behind a building blocking the view and I was liked arghhhhhhhhh... A seconds later burst continued and this time is at the designated area within our framing. Wow...
The last burst ended up with smokes around covering KLCC and we viewed back the shots. Not the effect I expected...
and I crumpled my friend's tee after being shown his best shot! You are real............pro man. Anywhere, here are some of the shots.

Does this reminds you of 911?

And the journey home begins in the jam... Happie New Year everyone.
