In conjunction with Malaysia 50th Independence and Visit Malaysia Year 2007, there are alot of events being launched to attract tourists over the world.One of the main event is Malaysia International Firework Competition which was held in Putrajaya from 18 Aug - 2 Sept 2007. The countries that took part are :
         - Malaysia (18 Aug)
         - Australia (22 Aug)
         - Italy (25 Aug)
         - Japan (31 Aug)
         - and special performance by Canada on the Grand Finale (2 Sept).

My mum likes firework so much that we have not missed any single competition listed above. Putrajaya is where goverment sectors and buildings are, when night falls it used to be a quiet place but not when the competition took place. This silent city has been swamped by malaysians as well as tourist and cars been double and even triple park in main roads heading to the venue. Although there are alot of cars but there isn't any massive jam at the end. Is still acceptable and unbelivable smooth. Here are some pics from the Italy team.
